THIS WEEK’S OPPORTUNITIES at Fox Street Church of God

SUNDAY:         9:45 a.m.—Morning Worship—Happy Fathers Day!

                          11:00 a.m. — Sunday School for all ages

Baby Bottle Boomerang! Please return bottles TODAY!

TUESDAY:           10:00 a.m. — Coordinating Team Meeting in Rm 8
                                 Noon— Preliminary meeting in the Chapel for those who wish to be a part of the new Fox Street Visitation Team.  If you are unable to attend, please make sure to get a copy of the guidelines.  At a later date, we will ordain you as Deacons and Deaconess of the Fox Street Church of God.  These are important positions of the Church, established by the Apostles in Acts 6:1-6 and also referred to by Paul numerous times, importantly in Romans 16:1 where he mentions Phoebe as a Deaconess.
                                  1:30 p.m. —  CWC Salad Luncheon in Towers Hall
                     This is open to all ladies of the church; please join us.  Bring
                      a small salad to share.  See you there!

THURSDAY:         6:00 p.m.  – Property Finance Team Meeting

SATURDAY:         9:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.—Children and Youth Activity
                                 Day— “Lost and Can’t Find My Way Baaaaack!” for
                                 Ages 4 thru 6th grade. Games, Worship, Snacks,
                                 Lunch, Crafts and SO MUCH MORE!

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES and UPDATES

WHICH CAME FIRST THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG?  — There will be a “Chicken and Egg Race” (luncheon) immediately after church on July 14th.  

WHITEHALL CAMPMEETING—July 20-28 at Whitehall Camp; guest speaker is Rev. Jeannette  Flynn;.  The theme is “Give Hope,  Bring Light to the Darkness”. 

CHURCH PICNIC — Two Mile Run Park—Mackey Pavilion: (on the left– check the map out on the narthex bulletin board) August 11th—9:00 a.m. Church Service followed by picnic

FOCS BREAKFAST BUFFET— August 17 from 8:00 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. Minimum suggested donations is $5.00 .  This is open to the community.
