The calendar is getting fuller!
Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”
Lots going on! And . . . will Phil see his shadow next Friday!
There is a transition made in the New Testament. Old Testament is the protection and preservation of Israel, the promises of God made to Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David, all made with the promise of a rescuer, a Messiah. Jesus claims to be THAT Messiah!
Important meetings this week and Winter Blast for Grades 3 -12 coming up soon!
“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

As 2023 nears an end, what does God have in store for us in 2024? No matter what, He is still in control!
Romans 12:9–21 (NLT): 9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate* what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
